Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the My Jobs Kenya website and services (the "Platform"). By registering an account, browsing gigs, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on My Jobs Kenya, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To use My Jobs Kenya, you must be at least 18 years old, a resident of Kenya, and hold a valid, registered M-Pesa phone number in your own name. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
• You may not create more than one account, or create an account on behalf of another person without authorization.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Gigs & Conduct

Gigs available on My Jobs Kenya are posted by verified partners and reviewed by our team before publication. When completing gigs, you agree to:

• Complete gig tasks honestly, accurately, and to the best of your ability.
• Not use automated tools, bots, or third parties to complete gigs on your behalf.
• Not submit false, misleading, duplicate, or plagiarized work.
• Treat other users, gig partners, and My Jobs Kenya staff with respect.
• Not attempt to circumvent the platform to transact directly with gig partners outside My Jobs Kenya.

We reserve the right to reject, withhold payment for, or reverse credit on any gig submission that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

5. Payments & Payouts

Earnings for approved gigs are paid to your registered M-Pesa number, subject to the minimum payout threshold and processing timelines applicable to your subscription plan. My Jobs Kenya is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment networks, incorrect phone numbers provided by you, or events outside our reasonable control.

6. Subscriptions

My Jobs Kenya offers optional paid subscription plans (Hustler and Pro Earner) that unlock additional gigs and benefits. Subscription fees are billed via M-Pesa on the cadence selected at checkout. You may cancel or downgrade your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including the My Jobs Kenya name, logo, design, and software, is owned by or licensed to My Jobs Kenya and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without our written permission.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or misused the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform and all gigs are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. My Jobs Kenya does not guarantee a minimum level of earnings, availability of gigs at any given time, or uninterrupted access to the Platform. To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, My Jobs Kenya's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the amount of fees, if any, paid by you to us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
